About My First Friends
At My First Friends, we are a close-knit team that goes above and beyond to create a family feel in our nursery. Our facilities provide state-of-the-art security throughout, giving our parents complete peace of mind as to the safety of their precious children.
Our team is highly qualified in all aspects of childcare including NVQ Level 3 in Childcare up to Degree level. We continually invest in our team and provide opportunities to further their knowledge and development which maintains their motivation, commitment, and enjoyment. This could be through long-term qualification routes or short courses or in-house training.
However, our team is recruited not only for their qualifications but also for their caring and nurturing nature, ensuring that all of our children are cared for in a professional and understanding way. Nursery Manager
We're looking for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Manager to join the team at My First Friends Droitwich!
If you are a highly motivated, organised and creative individual with excellent knowledge of the EYFS, we want to hear from you.

Requirements:
✅ Level 3 or above CCLD Qualification (or equivalent)
✅ Have an excellent understanding of how to deliver the EYFS to children/ families to the highest standard, as well as a detailed understanding of OFSTED requirements
✅ Have an understanding of managing budgets, Early Years funding and fees
✅ Have an extensive knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection and be confident to support, supervise and manage a staff team
✅ Have experience at management level of a busy day nursery

Duties and Responsibilities Include:
➡️ To support the manager in the day-to-day operations of the nursery
➡️ To assist the manager in efficient running of the nursery and overall delivery of a high quality service
➡️ Keep up to date with changing early childhood trends and ensure that the nursery plans an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
➡️ Effectively delivering the EYFS, ensuring that the individual needs and interests of children in our setting are met
➡️ Supporting all staff and engaging in a positive staff team
➡️ Ensuring the provision of a high-quality environment that meets the needs of each individual child, while having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures, and medical histories

➡️ Effectively delivering the EYFS, ensuring that the individual needs and interests of children in our setting are met
➡️ Keeping records of your key children’s development and learning
➡️ Supporting all staff and engaging in a positive staff team
➡️ Developing and maintaining a strong partnership with parents/carers
➡️ Ensuring the provision of a high-quality environment that meets the needs of each individual child, while having an awareness of any disabilities, family cultures, and medical histories.
➡️ Flexibility within working practices of the setting, undertaking other duties where needed, such as domestic tasks, preparation of snack meals, cleansing of equipment, etc.
